The stand presence is binding until the end of the exhibition. Premature dismantling is not permitted.

The entrance for deliveries and collections is located behind the Congress Center Basel.
Delivery via the main entrance is not permitted.

Parking

The car park Messeplatz P2 (clear height entrance ramp 2m) is located directly next to the Congress Center Basel. Please contact us directly if you wish to park vehicles over 2 metres high.

Parking tickets from 18 to 20 September 2024 can be purchased via the Congress Center Basel e-shop. Tickets will be handed out on site at the Infodesk (main etrance - ground floor).

The Congress Centre has WiFi for free and unrestricted use. If you are dependent on the internet for your stand presentation, we recommend that you order a fixed connection.

Earliest arrival of postal items: Monday, 1 July 2024

At the Basel exhibition centre, postal items are delivered to the Congress Center Basel's in-house services and can be picked up at the infodesk. The Congress Center Basel accepts no liability for delayed or damaged postal items. Items sent for a fee will not be accepted. Courier consignments can generally be delivered directly to the exhibitors' stands by the courier.

Stand construction (technical description)

Please refer to the following document for all information regarding stand construction:

Technical desciption Hall 4.1

For stand areas larger than 20m2 or with a column enclosure, a dimensioned stand concept (overall height, size, etc.) must be submitted to registration@organizers.ch for approval by 20 August 2024 at the latest. Column connections that have been put into operation must be accessible at all times. If a stand that has not been approved does not comply with technical or safety-based specifications, adjustments must be made immediately and at the expense of the exhibitor/stand constructor.

Stand cleaning, waste disposal & returns

Stand cleaning
The exhibitor is generally responsible for cleaning the stand. Cleaning must be completed at least ¼ hour before the exhibition opens and 1 hour after it closes. Stand cleaning can be ordered via the Congress Center Basel e-shop. External cleaning companies commissioned by the exhibitor are not permitted.

Waste disposal
Exhibitors are requested to dispose of their waste in the containers provided for this purpose. The containers will be available in the exhibition hall during set-up and dismantling. Exhibitors will be charged for any waste that is not disposed of properly.

For safety reasons, all passages and zones outside the stand areas must be kept clear of waste and other materials at all times.

Returns
Packaged returns with the appropriate documents must be taken to the appropriate collection point during dismantling and collected within one week. Incorrectly deposited material will be disposed of. The Congress Center Basel accepts no responsibility or liability for loss, damage or delays.

Storage and logistics

The storage of empties outside the stands is not permitted. Storage space for empties can be ordered via the Congress Center Basel e-shop . For empties that are not stored by the Congress Center Basel, punctual delivery after the end of the event cannot be guaranteed.

Insurance

Liability, fire, explosion and natural hazards insurance is mandatory for all exhibitors and must be taken out by the exhibitor. The Organiser and the Congress Center Basel expressly do not take out any insurance for exhibitors. Neither the Organiser nor the Congress Center Basel assume any duty of care for exhibits and stand equipment.

The exhibitor shall bear all consequences that may arise from failure to take out compulsory exhibition insurance. The exhibitor is also obliged to install protective devices on the machinery and equipment exhibited and in operation. The exhibitor is liable for personal injury and damage to property caused by the assembly and dismantling of the stand or its exhibits. If you do not have insurance cover, you can apply for this from Basler Versicherung AG.
